Keeping it Brief – Sara Jann and Thriving PA
Wednesday, October 6, 2021
1:30 pm – 2:15 pm
Please join us on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, for the launch of the BCWAC series, Keeping It Brief. This mid-week, mid-day gathering on Zoom is your opportunity to get a quick update on a current issue followed by our coalition. Host and Individual Partner Maria Evans will be joined each month by a special guest and will facilitate this unique opportunity to learn more, hear updates, and answer calls to action.
This month’s guest will be Sara Jann. Sara joined Organization Partner Maternity Care Coalition in March 2016 and currently serves as the Director of Policy & Advocacy. Sara will brief us on Thriving PA, a non-partisan, statewide campaign that seeks to improve the quality of and increase equitable access to a coordinated system of health supports, including access to comprehensive perinatal health services, children’s health insurance, nutrition supports, and lead screening and abatement.
The purpose of our gathering – The intention is to hear updates and learn more about Thriving PA and what actions we can take in support of the campaign.
The rules of our gathering – To support learning and keeping this conversation brief, the focus will be discussion between the host and guest. Registrants are encouraged to submit questions in advance or through the Q&A feature during the event. Registrants will be muted and their cameras turned off when they join the briefing.
What you can expect during and after our gathering – Respecting your time, the briefing will be 45 minutes. Please submit questions in advance of the event or through the Q&A feature on Zoom during the event. We will share an opportunity to take action after the briefing. We will post a recording of the discussion on the BCWAC website following the discussion.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Ify Aduba at email@example.com.
Thank you so much for your participation and commitment to the BCWAC!
